Another building of which very little is known, historically speaking. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1969 and it can therefore be deduced that this building was designed and constructed some time shortly afterwards.
Facing the Corniche, it occupies a prominent position at the start (end?) of Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street. Tall for its time, it’s now very much on a par with the surrounding built fabric, although it’s elegant proportions and podium treatment still allow it to stand out.
