A concrete giant of a building that really imposes itself on Abu Dhabi’s downtown. Whether or not the Hamdan Centre remains an institution of the Abu Dhabi shopping scene, the building is still very much a major landmark. Built in the early 1980s, it combines retail, residential and office space and is therefore one of the capitals first true ‘mixed-use’ developments.
