I previously posted about The Sheraton Hotel (No.0019), which was one of the first international hotel chains to open in Abu Dhabi. Well, the Hilton wasn’t just one of the first, it was the first. Designed by Brashier Lancaster Associates the hotel was completed in 1973. It originally stood alone, surrounded only by the Abu Dhabi sand, but is now neighbors with an array of contemporary architecture including the new ADNOC headquarters.

Since 2019 the hotel has operated under the Radisson Blu brand.
