Continuing my series of posts on modern heritage to be found on Zayed 1st Street…

This gem boldly incorporates colour, geometric balconies and repetition to make it really stand out on  one of the city’s busiest streets. Considerably shorter than many of its neighbors, this residential building seems, at least in part, to have been converted into a medical facility. An example of adaptive re-use ahead of its time!
