Everyday Icons / Hiding In Plain Sight (Abu Dhabi)
No.0003 - Obeid Al Mazrui Tower, Electra Street, Abu Dhabi

Like its nearby neighbour down the street, this building is another well known landmark in the city. Colloquially known as the connect four building due to its circular facade openings, it too was constructed sometime in the 1980’s. The architect, however, is unknown. The circular openings are said to be designed to provide shading to the glazing behind.
