A case of little and large…

I’m documenting these two buildings together as they are neighbors, and have a certain quality when viewed together. I love the contrast in colour and scale, and the way the two buildings meet the ground differently.

Equally interesting is the facade treatment of each building. Building 721 with its three-dimensional cladding concealing recessed balconies to create one large volume; building 723 emphasizing more the horizontal with banded spandrels and open balconies.
